For private and institutional building owners as well as for specialized dealers, the selection of the right window profiles is an essential part of construction planning. Quality, sustainability and thermal efficiency are playing an increasingly decisive role. This is where the real-time touch application comes in, which Panoorama developed for the window manufacturer Salamander Window & Door Systems as part of an individual showroom concept at the Türkheim site. Various window profiles appear on the touch screen, which the user can experience intuitively by tapping, rotating and zooming – just like on a smartphone. In this way, details become visible in animated exploded views and are combined with important information about the product – in a completely flexible and expandable manner. Thus, the product specifications, the product range as well as the (currently eight) language assignments can be individually changed, supplemented and adapted according to the needs of the target groups (B2B or B2C). Panoorama was responsible for the entire development and implementation process: from conception to 3D data preparation, from user-focused UX and UI design to media technology planning, programming and implementation. Salamander was thrilled and already extended the interactive app with another window profile. In the future, the app will also be used at other locations worldwide – the window to the world is open to the app.
